Transfers

A transfer of Ownership must be filed with the Canadian Pinto Horse Association whenever there is a change in the ownership of a horse.

When a registered Canadian Pinto Horse is sold, it is the obligation of the seller to ensure that the Transfer of Ownership, the original Certificate of Registration and the appropriate fees are forwarded to the Canadian Pinto Horse Association office.

When a Canadian Pinto Horse, eligible for registration but not yet registered, is sold the seller must complete both the Application for Registration and the Transfer of Ownership.

When submitting a Transfer of Ownership, please forward the original Certificate of Registration, a completed and signed Transfer of Ownership and the appropriate fee to the Canadian Pinto Horse Association office.
